US 1 Exclusive Bus Lanes Parking Lot
Miami-Dade County Transit leased excess parking in a parking lot also serving a Target Store. The leased area covers 6.9 acres and provides 462 parking spaces at the Bus Lanes S.W. 204th Street station.
Miami-Dade County Transit retained Biscayne Engineering Company to modify a portion of the parking lot to provide accessible and baby carriage parking spaces as well as provide an accessible path across S.W. 204th Street to the northbound station.
The project also included seal coating the entire parking lot and re-striping the lot in accordance with current county code.
